Have you joined our Rainbow Resource Scheme? We offer a Rainbow Resource card to all children and young people aged between 0-25 years, with a Special Educational Need and/ or Disability (SEND) or an additional need, living across Bath and North East Somerset.

Why join the scheme?

It’s completely free, and will provide you with a wallet sized card confirming your child's additional need/disability. This may then offer you discounted admission or an alternative concession at many attractions and venues across the South West.

A variety of local organisations already offer concessions, such as Avon Valley Adventure and Wildlife Park, Bristol Zoo, Bristol Aquarium, Cattle Country (to name a few!). We are working on developing the scheme and where it can be used, in the meantime just flash your card wherever you pay an entrance fee to see what concessions you could get. If you have any suggestions of places for us to approach to accept the card, do let us know.

In addition to the above, we encourage all organisations we work with to offer additional services such as a quiet space, and support from staff in unpredictable circumstances.

What do we need to know?

We will need only basic information, and this information will be held securely by Bath and North East Somerset Council with access limited to authorised staff. Your information will be held in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018.
